Professional illustrator and lecturer at the University of Portsmouth, Louis Netter is one of the United States’ finest cartoonists. His work has appeared in exhibitions devoted to political graphics, magazines, journals and graphic novels. His book, Life’s Too Short for Nuance took readers on a journey into the dark heart of America during the Bush years. His artwork is held in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Library of Congress, New York Historical Society and many University libraries across the USA. He has provided illustrations for numerous books and publications and exhibited widely as one of the directors of the New York Society of Etchers. He has recently completed the illustrations for Lizard World, a macabre time-travel caper, and is currently working on an illustrated history of the 1960s.
